Seems far-fetch but I cannot imagine what the various road rages, department store fights, Black Friday sales, little league games, etc. etc could escalate into if more people were strapped. Sounds ridiculous for me to suggest these could escalate into a western style shoot outs but between that sense of empowerment from being armed AND letting emotions run wild, who knows how bad it could potentially get. If an average non-violent person cannot follow basic gun safety, I would not trust society as a whole that is armed.

Damn. That guy wont ever be the same.
With that said... my dad use to take me hunting and Ive learned how to be around firearms like a professional. I dont own any guns, nor do I care to... but if I had to be around them I would know the dos and donts. Now that I got that out of the way... why the fuck did they give a drunk guy a loaded pistol!? Why the fuck was it not in the gun safe? Its funny how when taking up Japanese swordsmanship they drill into you the proper safety habits as well as a deep respect for the sword, even one that isnt live. But some folks dont show a fraction of that respect to gun ownership. --- :) ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've been at parties where everyone is drunk, and drunk people start showing off their guns. Luckily, they were military people who had safety ingrained in their mind.
