The show has always been depressing, but never in a truly defeatist or mean-spirited way. Id be suprised if the finale goes full downer.

I think a somber, realistic, but ultimately positive ending is going to happen.

I'm also really interested in what direction Mr. Peanutbutter heads in. His character and issues was always more subtle than Bojack's.

I do like that Season 5 actually explored his issues more closely. His scene in the trailer is hilarious.
So was Princess Caroline and Diane.
I also don't think they'll go total downer with the ending of the show.

It is alot less subtle in the latest season where he and diane kinda . . . Explode, but yeah. I love him so much. I love that he was a foil to bojack in the beginning, but his perfect life isnt so perfect at all.

But i do expect an optimistic ending. Somewhat. As optimistic as bojack can be. The show is never nihilistic as something like rick and morty.

Im happy its finally getting a season finale, but also kind of sad that it will be the last. I hope they give Bojack a happy ending.

I sometimes enjoy walking with Bojacks theme song on loop. Dont know why, but it gives me a peaceful feeling.

Funniest moment for me was the end of his eulogy to his mom. Laughed so hard I was still laughing when the next episode started.
