Like literally 'scare' you. If you had to choose one of the above. For me it would be rats. I can't stand those things. Especially when they catch you off guard. Like they just pop out of nowhere. And i just instantly jump back a little scared. <_<

Anyone who doesn't vote bed bugs has never had bed bugs.

I think I'd rather wake up to find my bed covered in rats because at least I could easily get the rats out of my fucking house.

I've dealt with all of these bed bugs and centipedes. For rats you just set up traps - although our rat problem wasn't bad at all. Alot of these others are just making sure your house is sealed up and sprayed down. Mosquitos are probably the easiest to deal with tbh. Scorpians will someone end up in your house once in a blue moon if you live near them, you just trap em and throw em out, they aren't that bad. Wasps, bees, Hornets, etc you source control. If they're around your house you probably have a nest somewhere close. Just kill or move that. You can get these sprays that spray like 20+ feet that can kill these things.

I never personally dealt with bed bugs but Im close to people that have and its a bitch of a process. Especially if ur landlord blames you for it and charges you for all the diagnostic and treatments, it can alot of money and headache.

I can imagine centipedes being scary looking though.

No, they are horror movie scary. I haven't had them in years and I still mildly freak out over every mosquito bite and bump.

Bed bugs leave you with a feeling of paranoia because of how tough it is to get rid of them. They attack when you sleep. Once you're aware that you have bed bugs you have night mares and fever dreams of being covered in them.

House centipedes aren't scary, but if a legit one was crawling toward me or in my bed, I'd panic

scorpion would be a close second, but lots of them aren't super quick to pinch and sting. a centipede will BITE the shit out of you like you're made of chocolate and the centipede's name is meghan trainor

I had never seen a rat until I went to Washington D.C. Walking around at night, holy shit they were everywhere.

Spiders have to be pretty big to scare me. As a kid I was terrified of centipedes but I got over that. Dont like roaches.

Its weird that the only ones that have actually caused me harmbees and waspsdont scare me at all.

This. I voted centipedes out of the assumption bed bugs weren't included. I never see them in these kinds of topics.

Bed bugs ended up fucking my sleep schedule and I couldn't reset it for around 3 years. They fuck with you psychologically and depending on where you live/how well off you are, can take a lot of time and effort to get rid of.

What state or country was this in, so I can actively avoid it?

Got bit by an 8 or 9 incher once, and the swelling didn't go down for over a week. And, yeah, you can hear those things crawling on tile.

Still rather deal with those than bedbugs though.

Spiders. I guess I'm arachnophobic but it only really applies to spiders and not things like scorpions or ticks. If I can see the spider before it can surprise me and can avoid it, it's ok, but if one gets on me I freak the heck out.

not all wasps are aggressive, for example, mud daubers have basically no territorial defense issues and will chill around anyone, even if their nests are around people

but yellowjackets are extremely protective of their nests or colony, and to make matters worse, once the workers do their jobs and all the eggs are laid and cared for, the colony collapses and disperses, and the wasps basically go mad, they have no nest or colony or purpose, and they become actively aggressive toward everything and just look for food to gorge themselves on, because they know they're going to die soon
