I mean it's pretty unsatisfying and you need a strategy guide to figure out how to get the good one.

I just completed the regular castle with 100.1%. I'm not sure if I'm gonna finish the inverted castle for the 200.6%. I'll probably just breeze through to Dracula and be done with it. But I am of the understanding that the ending you get is percentage based? Doesn't really seem like you need a strategy guide for it.

Although the one part where you have to turn into a bat and go through a cave and then turn into a wolf and go back through the cave again and it magically reveals a secret room. I don't know how we were supposed to know that. Or how somebody figured it out.

Slowly unraveling the mystery of how to get to the Reverse Castle is one of my most cherished experiences in gaming. This was in the pre-internet days mind you; I'd heard of it once or twice, but always assumed it was a myth. It was genuinely mind-blowing to find that first dangling thread indicating that there might be more to the game that I realized (after several 'bad' playthroughs), subsequently following all those weird little breadcrumbs, and end up getting that substantial of a reward for my perseverance.
