Didn't Toby say the game was gonna be released one chapter at a time? Given that it was almost a year ago that Chapter 1 came out, it's probably gonna be a long, long time before the full game is out.

Good things come to those who wait, and whatnot. I know I couldn't handle getting to a cliffhanger and having to wait for the next chapter. And I'm pretty sure Deltarune is and will be every bit as good as Undertale, so that's why I don't want to experience something great and then have to wait.

I could've sworn he said the opposite, that he wouldn't release it until it was complete ... however long that would take.

IIRC Undertale took him like 7 years, so this seems like it won't come for long time.

Im insanely hyped about the prerelease stuff hes putting out for Chapter 2 because it looks like its going to focus on Noel to some degree. The Chapter 1 party is great but it felt like it was missing something and I really want her to get added to the party

It's hard to compare it to Undertale as a whole but it's good. If you like Undertale, you'll definitely enjoy this. It's about 2-3 hours long. If anything, you'll start theorizing about how this connects to Undertale instantly. It's pretty interesting.

Did you get to it?
If youre having trouble with the keys the way to get it is First talking with Sean. After you talk about Jevil the broken keys are: Broken Key B: This key part is accessible from the Forest youll see the chest in the lower-right corner, but it can only be reached through a secret passage. The hidden passage is in the bottom-right, on the middle of the southern edge. Press against the bottom edge to find the passage.
Broken Key C: The last key part is located north of the chess Field path that leads to Card Castle. Go north (above the path) to find a puzzle. Youll need to input the correct combination of spade / diamond / heart into the puzzle.
Combination: Diamond, Heart, Club, Spade
Once you have all three Broken Key parts, travel to the Bake Sale in the Forest and talk to Malius the Smith. Hell repair the key. You can also repair the Broken Cake!
