FF7 has always been popular, but that was begginning to wane. As years went by, new games came that tested the fandom's loyalty.
But now, that will be revitalized.
Topics like: FF7 is the best game ever!
Will resurge.
Cloud will win best character contests.
Hate topics to combat this will spawn once again.

They aren't hating on FF7, they are hating on how SE is handling the remake, aka retcons, splittint it up and changing the combat system.

Though, some of the defenders hate on FF7 as an argument to why arpg is good tbh.

Doesn't matter. If I hated half as much as what the haters are complaining about then I'd stopped playing a Square game a long time ago.

Tifa looks fine. One guy had a huge thread comparing old tifa and new tifa showing they were the same.
But they continued to pretend she got nerfed.

Hentai ruined us. Also that gif of her boobs bouncing while on the Highwind ruined us. Someone post that gif please.

Lmao. It's clear some of the die-hard fans will never be happy with the remake.

Also the way the first part is being marketed SE is either doing DLC to continue the story ala FFXV or they're going to number them like the FF13 sequels.

That's my biggest gripe with it. There was plenty to do in the original ff7, but now it's being chopped up and sold in chapters. There's no way in hell I'm buying a 1 third of a game and waiting for the next two chapters. Two chapters that might not even make it on current gen consoles mind you since ps5 is next year by all accounts. Look at the DBZ kakarot game, it's going to have ALL of DBZ on it. A huge world, side quest as well....and it hasn't taken them as long as square to do this.

I like 7 and all but I enjoyed 6 more, and after the remake of 4 on the ds I was holding out hope for a 6 remake in the same vein. But no they needed to do this remake and add in shit nobody asked for. Yes the original came in three disks, but you had all three from the day you bought it.
