The story in that game irked me so much.

Batman kidnaps people, locks them up, then they get changed into the joker monsters (or whatever under his watch). He is as bad as then both Anarchy and Azrael .

Three of them had already turned into Joker monsters and had killed multiple people. The fourth voluntarily went into his custody.

I'll accept most other complaints, but I want to say that AK has the best Riddler trophies in the series. AC's are boring as fuck, mostly just being "oh, they're on random rooftop #812." AK's usually have you solve a small puzzle.

That is right they died in this custody that's why I was upset with it. man my memory is getting bad. It's kind of scary .

idk if its just me but i thought city was a disappointment after asylum. like asylum is a 9.5/10 and then city was like a 7.5 for me.

still havent played knight but its downloaded on my ps4

AK is okay but it has glaring flaws and yes the batmobile stuff was a little excessive. Especially when the Deathstroke fight ends up being a dumb tank battle instead of a fight like it shouldve been.

It also has probably the dumbest ending ive ever seen.

So Batman locks up all the villians and 'Gotham is safe' except they always escape time and time again. Except now Batman is done because everyone knows Bruce is Batman and he looks like he's hanging it up anyways. Then bit where Bruce walks into Wayne Manor and it blows up. Cut to the following scene where the thugs see a weird visual thing that looks like a bat.

All that really said to me was the writers had no idea how to end it so they just put in a really stupid 'open to interpretation' ending.

Asylum will always be the "best" for me but I enjoy replaying Knight a lot more.

I enjoyed Origins more than I did AK.

I think people give the Riddler so much shit because of the racing minigames. I agree with you that the trophies were better. And the Riddler as a character was done very well in the Arkham series overall.

But it was the least good Arkham game

I didn't hate it, but after I finished it, I was in no real hurry to replay it. And I replayed the previous ones almost immediately after finishing them for the first time. And this was all thanks to the Batmobile. Rocksteady just went overboard. They did claim that fans were clamoring for it's use on their forums.

Well I hope those fans are happy now. I mean I thought it would have been nice for some Batmobile gameplay. But I didn't want it that much. And I most certainly didn't want it to replace boss fights. Plus Deathstroke's appearance there was just insulting.

I too hated the open to interpretation bs ending they gave us, but then again I just hate those kind of endings in general, I just prefer something definite because my imagination sucks

The only open ended ending I truly like is the ending to Inception

It's open-ended, but it's not super out of left-field to think it's still Bruce and he's using a milder form of the fear toxin.

I really liked it.

IIRC I interpreted the ending as Bruce having some sort of solution in place if his identity was ever public. He fakes his death and creates some sort of new replacement that seems even more supernatural than Batman to keep the criminals in fear.

How he manages that is up to interpretation but I'm not sure if it matters that much. It's meant to look supernatural to keep the myth alive but it probably isn't.
