You might want to specify whether this is suicide attempt or successful suicide

Because 20% of all females have at least one suicide attempt.

It's still absolutely abhorrent either way, but nevertheless you should try to be honest with statistics no matter what you're talking about.

But as someone with gender dysphoria who suffered from severe suicidal ideation as a teenager, I absolutely understand why it's worse for transgenders. It's like you're stuck in a world that won't allow you to be who you are.

Dude, you were going to bat for Tim Pool yesterday and now you're in here trying to downplay a game dev pandering to transphobes and actual fascists. Bad look imo

Reminder that Gamers were mad as hell when that Ion Storm or whatever its called developer said it would remove a gay joke from the game and donate money to a suicide hotline for LGBT+ youth after a dev was outed for making repeated transphobic comments on a discord. So mad in fact that they review bombed the game and eventually the devs reversed these decisions in the name of being against 'censorship'.

Whatever your stance is about what the devs may or may not have said: the people who are outraged the most aren't the people buying the game anyway.

Even if you're anti-trans (which is a fucking gross stance to take, don't get me wrong), a sale specifically aimed at mocking any suicide is just disgusting.

I legitimately cannot fathom supporting this. That's probably one of the most disgusting things I've seen in a long ass time.

I genuinely hope that it is somehow an astronomically unlikely coincidence, just so whatever remaining faith I have in humanity isn't crushed.

I don't know all of Tim Pool's opinions or actions, so I can only speak about that specific vid when he talks about wanting a wife who is focused on him and the kids. He wasn't wrong in having that preference, he admits it's not for everyone, he continuously praised career women for being financially successful, and nobody here was able to explain why it was supposedly terrible of him to say it.

Regarding this game, you either like the genre and what you've seen or read about the product, or you don't. If you're going to base your purchase on what these developers said, then that's your right. I'll backtrack on my first reply and say that it's Ok to not financially support someone you don't like. I don't fully understand it because a game is either good (i.e. fun) for you or it's not, regardless of who made it. But I should have been more open to the fact that not every customer agrees.

From what I heard, the dev's girlfriend said something unkind about transwomen, so transwomen started going after her on social media, demanding they break up, etc. Basic internet slapfight BS. This jab is a continuation of that.

The 35% may or may not have been intentional, but the 41% is just a coincidence of how math works. The bundle is an extra 10% off compared to buying both separately and is a fairly standard discount rate for such things.
