Board 8 > Anybody tried those Cheez it Pizza things from Pizza Hut?

I don't think they're actually that good

first and foremost, its like 7 bucks

you only get 4 squares.

I thought it was 6 for some reason, so that already sucks

they don't have sauce and I don't feel like the filling and the crust ratio are even, the crust is thicker than the cheese

The crust is okay, but I never thought I'd say this, but its super salty. I sound like my mom

so essentially its a sauceless Pizza roll with cheese flavored crust

I know its Pizza hut but since these were cracker themed, that threw me off guard

even pizza rolls aren't that slimy

actually, in my experience, Dominoes is much more greasy, but still, I know people complain about Pizza hut being that too

Pizza Hut is definitely greasier than Dominos around here, by a lot.

They're ok. Made me think of toasted ravioli more than pizza though. Much better dipped in marinara, but still not something I'd buy again.

From my knowledge, it varies from region to region.

I typically avoid Pizza Hut unless I get a hankering for their stuffed crust. No point in thinking about craving that now, unfortunately...

The thing I like doing at Dominoes is asking for alfredo sauce instead of tomato

pizza hut USED to do that, but now they have some weird Parmesan sauce and its not that good. I remember Pizza Hut did pastas for awhile, thats probably why they don't have the sauce anymore

My wife and I both tried it, she loves cheese and doesn't really have a picky palette (I don't really either) so she loved it. I thought they were pretty good but a bit too cheesy for me, I had 2 of the 4 squares and I was like "yeah that's all I can handle." It definitely is more like a ravioli than a pizza. We also had the cheese and I would like to try the pepperoni filling some time, but the price is a little steep for what you get. It'd be more worth it at like $5.

I was happy that the crust actually tasted like cheez it and wasn't drowned out in the flavor of the cheese inside or anything. Basically, it was alright. Nothing special, but not bad.

I remember them rebranding as Pasta Hut, too - that lasted for only a day, though. Probably was an April Fool's Joke or an IHOB-level publicity stunt. Or both.

I ordered the cheese ones and they gave me the pepperoni by mistake I think. I love pepperoni but I didn't think it would work in these and it really didn't. I don't think the just cheese version would be any better though.

The cheese should have been a brick instead of the weird mush it had instead.
