https://www.cnbc.com/2019/10/03/biden-says-his-campaign-raised-15-million-in-third-quarter-less-than-sanders-and-buttigieg.html

Former Vice President Joe Biden announced Thursday at a fundraiser in Palo Alto, California that his campaign raised $15 million in the third quarter this year for his bid to win the 2020 Democratic nomination for president, which places him behind Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg.

For primary candidates, these fundraising totals often represent how their campaigns are performing and and often reflects their standing in the polls.

Sanders raised $25 million and Buttigieg raised $19.1 million in the last quarter while Kamala Harris raised $11.6 million. Elizabeth Warren has not yet released her fundraising numbers.

Not good news for Joe

I think Warren is the only one who hasn't released now. It will be interesting to see how she did. My guess is not as well as Sanders but (much) better than Biden.

Also, LOL@Biden. He raised less than $4 million more than Kopmala "Canceled" Harris. Sad!

Still technically waiting to hear numbers from Castro, Beto, Tulsi, Klobuchar, and Steyer, too, but I dont see any of them making a real splash.

I'm not sure what to make of Warren waiting this long - if her numbers actually are lower than Sanders it wouldve made the most sense to release them right after Biden to soften the blow by comparison. I have a sneaking suspicion her numbers are going to end up being higher than Sanders.

Kinda surprised Biden is so low comparatively.

Interesting numbers here - Warren apparently had fewer individual Q3 donors than Buttigieg (509,000 vs 580,000 according to their respective campaigns).

Thats definitely interesting. What was Sanders number for individual donors?
I cant seem to find it anywhere, but Im asking around with some people who might know. I know he reported 1,400,000 individual donations, compared to Warrens 943,000, so I can only guess that his unique donor count is also higher, but its hard to say for sure.

Another interesting number is that Warrens campaign is claiming that 300k of her individual donors from this quarter were first time donors. Im not seeing any reports about first-time donors from other campaigns, so I have no idea how it compares, but on its own that would seem to indicate a pretty hefty growth in he mr donor base to me.
