I was on Spotify listening to the Octopath Traveler soundtrack by Yasunori Nishiki. This inspired me to listen to some of the Chrono Trigger soundtrack and I realized its done by another Yasunori, Yasunori Mitsuda.

i play piano and have come across a lot of vids of so called child prodigies who have names like Lydian for instance...or Johann as in Johann Bach. Thats a mode of music, something similar to a scale. Anyway, I guess I wouldnt be surprised if Nishiki was named after Mitsuda, or maybe both of them were named after another famous Japanese composer.

I can confirm the kanji used here are correct, but I'd have to see how the artist you're referring to spells their name to be certain as there's other kanji and even hiragana meanings that might differ.

Well idk what kanji are. I'm assuming you need to know how they spell it with japanese characters. Idk.

Just looked it up and it's spelled differently so *shrugs*
