I read topic title as creationist cannabis and was confused.

No because Minnesota politicians like to jerk themselves off about how progressive of a state we are despite that not being the case for decades now

Maybe in like, the next ten years? North Carolina might as well be the midwest when it comes to cannabis. It's pretty progressive in a number of ways (save for that one trans issue, unfortunately), but when it comes to the scary plant they always cite concerns for children and religious platitudes. I can understand their fear, but it just feels so...archaic these days.

Canada for the win. Leaf and oil legal last October, edibles will be legal this month, and liquid cannabis next year.

Mississippi. I say 10+ years. Some local counties only recently became wet and there were people who were still upset over it and that's just booze. Pot is evil incarnate to many people down here and our politicians would hate to lose the moron vote because that's the majority down here. I'm sure it'll become legal in the year 2197 or something and anything over an 1/8th will still be illegal.

Next year, literally just had a dream about smoking weed.

I haven't smoked since I was 16, so 8 years by the time it's legal.

Tennessee? Doubt it. We cant even get a decent law passed for medical use of it lol.
The weird thing is that most of the people I have personally talked to (even the very right wing ones) think weed is ok..even recreationally, but for some reason our politicians are pretty adamant against it. There's either some huge group of vocal anti-weed citizens who I haven't came across personally or a big disconnect between our moronic lawmakers and their constituents.

My state is struggling with CBD currently. Attorney General said its ok as long as its under 3% thc but all the county attorneys dont care and keep arresting head shop owners only for the charges to get dismissed.

So no, I dont think marijuana will be legal in my lifetime.
