Impressions after probably 10 hours of gameplay is that it's not better than Bloodborne or Souls.

Undeniably it has the same DNA but it's also unique enough to warrant a new series.

So far, probably an 8.5/10

I bought it the day it came out, I played it for like 5 minutes, and was in a shitty mood to begin with and didn't feel like dying a ton while I learned how to play at that moment, and never went back to it. I probably should after I get through Greedfall and Borderlands 3.

This is why I've sat on new games for up to a week or 2 at times. Didn't want a mood to fuck up my first impression.

Ah, I also try to not let it shift to the backburner of my mind tho. There's a grace period of full enjoyment in my fickle mind.
