One of my friends never say daylight new Orleans until the day we left. Pretty much partied all night, slept during the day, and didn't leave the hotel until night time. I've always found it funny. Mother's - great Po'Boys Dookie Chase's - great gumbo and fried chicken. Do not go to the Voodoo Museum. I'm only slightly exagerrating. The place was a letdown. Not bad but not very good.
