The bigger question is about ISIS. They're saying we betrayed the Kurds because they helped us with ISIS...but the Kurds would have been fighting off ISIS regardless of whether the US would have been there or not. They, more than anyone, would not want those guys around. Us having the same need to crush ISIS as the Kurds does not mean we "owe" them because we worked together.
In the end, there's no good time to pull out of any conflict. There's always going to be some group who needs us to stay there. But then you're stuck in an "endless war" and there's no one going home and our young people are getting killed simply out of some sort of guilt. In the end a region needs to stand on its own otherwise it's hard to say why they're a region at all. We definitely need to have trump punished to the literal full extent of the law for the oodles of crimes he has committed. What law? Who's going to arrest him. There's no "Government Police" to arrest Congress and the Prez for violations, likely by design. He's incoherent and ignorant. A dangerous combination He's a "dangerous" combination and yet he's pulled troops out of dangerous situations in multiple areas which has saved many of their lives. He also didn't want to attack Iran and kill innocent people over them shooting down an unmanned drone which is certainly not what I'd call dangerous. Meanwhile, George Dubya started a war in Iraq for no reason that's resulted in thousands of kids killed and ISIS gaining more power in that area and it's STILL killing our kids there even now. But Trump's more dangerous than that? Please. Trump has many flaws but he does seem to be nicely reluctant to risk our soldiers' lives for these pointless conflicts. He's doing what Obama promised to do and didn't deliver. Don't ever forget that there are still far more awful and dangerous presidents than Trump will ever be. ... Copied to Clipboard!
