Because a lot of games still need FAQs. Video walkthroughs are a pain for certain things and gamefaqs doesn't auto play ads if you skip ahead to far or whatever
Not gonna watch a youtube video for Monster Hunter drops or Etrian Odyssey Formulae/Enemy data/skill data. Besides the rather harsh ToS, it's the best message board, IMO. On Reddit I never know where I can post what because shit gets fucking blocked all the time for being 'Off-topic' or whatever bull shit
