So I was basically riding the train and I hear a homeless man inside asking if anyone can spare some food or money. He comes up to me and I tell him that I don't have any cash which he understands and goes to ask the next person, and this guy basically says that while he doesn't have cash on him he did have a spare banana and a granola bar that he can give.

The look on the homeless face when that guy said that was just funny to me. He had a look of a guy who was disgusted, like he had a "Are you fucking serious?" kind of look. The homeless guy just shook his head and said that he doesn't take those, and just walked away asking others on the train if they have any money or food to spare. Like wtf

I remember I gave $5 to some homeless guy so he could catch the bus and a minute later I saw him walking into some back alley and never came out. He was probably just buying drugs with it.

If I can, I always give food to homeless people, never money.
