It would. The director of the first game wanted the dinosaurs to have advanced artificial intelligence but the technology wasnt available at the time like it so now. Plus, he wanted more unique dinosaurs but there were technical limitations. Next gen consoles would remedy that.

Unpopular opinion, but the second was my favorite, and I'd love for an expansion on the incident at Edward City. I'd honestly love for an open world type game but I know I'm in the minority there. Though I guess they kind of are open world to an extent but I'm kind of leaning towards GTA with dinosaurs.

I think I really just want more dinosaur games. Ugh.

I think the dev team originally intended for a more open world setting but couldnt make it work due to hardware limitations. I definitely wouldnt mind the second game getting an open world remake treatment if a remake of the first game proved successful.

I honestly think Capcom should take the risk. Jurassic World movies make a lot of money at the box office despite not being anything special so the market for dinos is still there. This series still has so much potential and dinosaurs are underutilized especially in video games.

Imo Resident Evil should stay a horror series but Dino Crisis should be the action oriented series in the style of Resident Evil 4/5/6. I think that would please both sides, people who like the horror games but also people who like the action oriented Resident Evil games.

Exactly. It felt like this is what they were going for with Dino Crisis 2 but they were still working out the kinks.

I have no idea if they kept that going with Dino Crisis 3 since I never played it though.
