2 is a classic but 5 probably has the best gameplay mechanics.

i really like 6 and am excited to see the changes to the RE and soul charge system in season 2. plus mina is actually an interesting (and good) character for once.

so I guess my answer is 6

1. I had a hard time getting used to the gameplay change in 2 going forward. I know a lot of people didn't even notice that the gameplay was changed, but I most certainly did. In fact some characters, like Cassandra, were created specifically because of changes. She's actually a slightly tweaked version of Sophitia that works better with the changes.
