The amount of freedom and sheer variety you have for creating stylish combos is frankly staggering, like, it should be illegal for any one game to be this much fun to play. Story wasn't too shabby either. It's basically everything I want out of a wacky woohoo power fantasy.

Breath of the Wild for going back to what makes open world games unique. The feeling of exploration and freedom. If you can think of a solution to a problem the game will likely let you do it. If you can see something you can go to it now. You never have to wait for a quest giver to give you a key. If you're determined enough you can beat the toughest enemy with a weak character relying on wits. It's all up up to you. It's a sandbox playground in the best way.

The Witcher 3 meanwhile has none of that. What it has is compelling and dense narratives. The world itself tells a story. The game just has more and more to give and it's crazy how the game maintains its quality.

Both of them are like the perfect 80 hour experiences to me and I generally do not like long games.

What makes you prefer GTA over Red Dead?

The greatest factor for me is probably the contemporary setting of GTA games. While RDR games also feature incredible open worlds there's something I find especially impressive about being able to quite precisely simulate modern environments and culture.
