Board 8 > Resident evil revelation 1 and 2, old school?

Hi i want to know if theses games are more like resident evil 1-2-3 with a lot of puzzle or more like 4-5-6 more action?

They kind of sell themselves as something in between.

I would say closer to 4-5-6 but there are some more puzzle elements.

I'd say they're a hybrid of both actually. Revelations is a healthy mix of action and puzzle solving. The Jill/Parker chapters do feel like old-school RE quite a bit, but Chris/Jessica, Quint/Keith, and the Parker/Jessica chapter lean much more towards action. Like most REs too the game gets more and more action-focused as it nears the end.

Revelations 2 tends to stick close to survival horror. There's a large emphasis on stealth and tactical shooting, but you could play it as an action game if you chose to. There's a lot more puzzle solving and key finding in Rev2 than Rev1 too.
