in about like 3 and a half hours. dishwasher at a cafeteria in a hospital. I met the boss like a month ago, and got a tour. and at the time they only had evening shifts and I was going to have some problems with the buses after work. but now a morning shift has opened up. so it might work out. apart from one failed 3 day job that was a horrible fit, I havent' worked in almost 3 years. kinda hyped to get paychecks again

Few weeks to hear back.. geez.. people are looking for jobs to WORK not sit around for a few week to see if you got the job or not. I'd look for something else and tell them to shove it.

Im just on day 3 of my job and I interviewd back in June I think. Well techincally I started on the 9th of last month but it was training academy from then until the 25th. I wouldnt ever complain about 2-3 weeks again.

Not saying I wouldnt be looking other jobs as well but I wouldnt toss one company aside and say fuck them over it.

I can't. I have social anxiety. my last job i quit after 3 days cause I had to interact with customers too much.

anyway this is with a job agency that has work sites around town. and it is for people with disabilities so this is the best people to work with. I have like a 98% chance of getting this dishwasher job it seems like. but also if I somehow don't, they also have a janitor job that is very laid back at the local airport. the only issue I have with that job is it's on the other side of town and I have to take 3 buses to get there. dishwasher is just one straight bus line and not that far away

Oh yeah forgot to say congrats if you get this job. Especially if it pays well. If it paid better I wouldnt have minded washing dishes at BK all day everyday. Would have rather been doing dishes than literally any other job there.
