Sister just got me a laptop. I don't wanna use Edge, which browser do y'all think is best. I'd prefer to use something with a built in ad blocker.

i like firefox. just get the ad block plus extension and you're good to go. if you want even more security because you go to seedy sites get the noscript extension.

turns out it already has firefox installed, with adblock plus.

I use firefox too, but I noticed a few days ago that adblock plus stopped working for no reason even though I've had it for a long time.

But then I switched over to ublock origins since I've seen people talking about it here a few times. And it works much better than adblock plus.

I've always been Firefox then I watched all those treacherous bastards switch to chrome. Then Firefox became fast again and the bastards flock back.

Yeah, with adblock plus, there are still ads at the bottom of gamefaqs pages, but ublock origins removes those unlike adblock plus.

There's an option within uBlock Origin (enabled by default) to auto-update filter lists

but sometimes you gotta refresh them manually I've learned
