Mainly concerning the Finn & Rose adventure subplot

Is that whole deal about the military industrial complex gonna go anywhere? Because by the looks of it, Kylo Ren & The First Order join Palpatine while the 20-ish surviving Resistance members rally others to join their cause. Obviously Finn & Rose will not have kept quiet about the Resistance & First Order being supplied by the same people.

DJ - The guy Finn & Rose brought along. The one that sold out the Resistance & ruined Holdos plan. The one that caused them to be shot at in space & followed to Crait which resulted in all of them being slaughtered except for about 20. The guy that threw a mother****ing wrench into the Resistances final desperate plan for survival. Benicio Del Toro will not be in The Rise of Skywalker. So it looks like the last we will have seen this character is him getting away as a rich man. Maybe theyll at least bother to include a line about him having been killed off.

In Empire Strikes Back Luke goes to fight Vader & rescue his friends but they escape anyways. He loses the fight & his right hand. There wasnt a lesson learned from his failure (well, maybe to fight better) but there was the revelation of Vader as his father. The revelation plays into future events in Episode 6.

For now Rose & Finns subplot went nowhere except to inadvertently make things worse. Finns arc remained the same as in the Force Awakens. He wanted to flee but learned to put away his own wants to fight for the greater good. If theres nothing in Episode 9 concerning the military industrial complex or the character DJ then their subplot will actually have been a complete waste. There will have been no lesson learned or a revelation that plays into future events.

I think JJ & others had said TROS will try to answer as many questions as possible and cohesively wrap up the three trilogies, something like that.

TL;DR - I think the Finn & Rose casino adventure subplot can be redeemed but Im worried that The Rise of Skywalker will instead abandon/ignore its plot threads.

Not the same horses, and I dont really mind there being space horses. Perhaps the Resistance is short on speeder bikes.
