I need a physical check on short notice, and wouldn't have time to order checks. It's too much money to send as a money order, although I could just get a couple of those.

ive literally never had to write a physical check before so idk how this works

Yep just ask them to cut a check. They'll just need to know who to make it out to.

yea i think its $1k? But nothing stopping you from getting multiple money orders

I've done a single money order for $1800 before paying first/last months rent on an apartment.
