Instead of running a new wire through the drop ceiling to hook up a new VoIP phone, the installer split the pairs on the existing wire. Then they made a dongle with the keystones just dangling completely open and exposed instead of using a surface mount box.

That stuff around the wall jack? That's not epoxy putty. It's not even regular putty. It's chewing gum.

Needless to say, it would lose connection if you even breathed on it.

My previous computer crashed. And by crashed, it deleted everything on it: programs, pictures and worst of all, my papers for school. My computer was basically a blank slate and if I wanted to use it again, I'd have to reinstall all that I lost.

It wasn't old, not even 4 years old. It was worse than doing a factory reset because it made the computer almost nonfunctional
