With all of the Blizzard China shit, it's hilarious how gamers on the internet think that their whining has an impact on anything and actually have no fucking idea how things actually work in the industry.

Like with reports of Overwatch 2 coming out people are actually saying "wow, can't believe that they're actually making Overwatch 2 with all of the shit they've pulled the past few weeks" do these idiots actually think that they just started development on Overwatch 2 this month to spite them or some shit?

Then there's the people saying "xDDD WOW MEI IS GOING TO BE CUT FROM THE GAME CUZ SHES A PROTEST ICON!!!" and now that Mei art has leaked they're saying "omg what how??? I thought they wuz gonna cut Mei from the game but she's here why???"

The intended goal of having Mei as a pro-HK symbol is to get Mei banned in China, and that hasn't happened yet. I would like for it to happen, but who knows if it really will
Since she's not banned (Yet) Blizzard doesn't have a reason to remove her from Overwatch 2.
Unfortunately everyone's already moved on from the whole Blitzchung fiasco, the fire has died off so now the heat is off Blizz and I guess they're getting what they wanted.

and she won't be banned because if you actually know anything about foreign affairs and china, you'd know that China "censoring" or "banning" things is bullshit. Winnie the Pooh is not banned there. Xi Jinping does not give a fuck if you think he looks like Pooh. He probably doesn't even know about the memes. China actually LOVES Winnie the Pooh, and the Chinese versions of Winnie the Pooh rides are known to be the best ones
