That was probably the best AEW women's match so far. The ones the prior weeks have felt a bit lackluster, even the Britt Baker one.

Probably the best episode of wrestling I've seen in about 16 years.

In terms of the total package, both the matches and the non-wrestling aspects, I think this was the best episode of Dynamite yet. The serious Cody/Jericho segment and the actions by the Inner Circle to further their feuds were all executed very well. All but one match was great in terms of in-ring action (plus the one that wasn't was still a lot of fun due to its comedy aspect) and the main event to crown the inaugural AEW Tag Team Champions was excellent.

Plus the best non-wrestling thing that happened in the whole episode was obviously the AEW debut of Sans

This. Almost felt the main event underwhelmed, if only because the entire tag tournament has been going at 150% for the last few months. Still a great match though.

The only flaw with tonight was the limo ride. It started out cool, but ran WAY too long, didn't go anywhere, and I don't think the arena could even hear them.

The limo ride and Kazarian recovering so quickly after the powerbomb outside are my only gripes with this episode. I would say 9.5/10 as well.

I agree that the limo ride was too long. SCU and the Lucha Brothers could have used that extra couple of minutes.

Also, Jim Cornette might have had a brain aneurysm if he was watching that show.

He liked the first two episodes, and didn't like the last two. I'm not picturing him liking this one either.

The women's match went too long, the tag match ended awkwardly, and the Rick and Morty stuff was dumb. Jericho and Cody were great though. It's amazing how they made the contract signing matter. I think the lighting makes a big difference.

huh, i thought this ep was pretty average, myself.

the tag champs match finish seemed awkward and rushed
the Mox promo was rambling, but not in a way that made him seem damaged, just repetitive
the women's match had too many false finishes for a match with no stakes. (But that's a problem everywhere these days)
Tony/Cody stuff was really weird and pointless
The fakeouts in the contract signing seemed like more (though more subtle) WWE bashing, and seemed forced and unnecessary.
The announcers kept pronouncing QT Marshall's name wrong =/

shrug. not gonna stop me from watching next week.

Amazing episode tonight! But I agree the limo scene was too long and at the wrong place. The main event ending via a rollup sucks.
