I'm not really into the "torture" genre, but pretty much anything else. Bonus points for an actual plot and twist.

The Thing would probably be an instant win but I don't see it on Hulu/Netflix.
Saw the VVitch and didn't love it.
Nope to Manos lmao.

The Barn (2016) - if you like '80s pastiche. This is actually a great example of it.
Event Horizon (1997) - sci-fi horror film
Tales from the Darkside (1990) - the best anthology horror film, imo. unofficially "creepshow 3" to a lot of people
Society (1992) - kind of schlocky, but amazing practical effects. regarding the social elite literally "absorbing" the poor, without spoiling too too much.
The Church (1990) - great Italian horror film.
The Love Witch (2016) - '60s technicolor pastiche (how uncommon is THAT?); also kind of feminist, too
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) - a great sequel for genre fans; much more tongue-in-cheek
Paperhouse (1989) - amazing children's horror film about a kid transporting into his drawings when he's asleep
High Tension (2005) - the onset of the new french extremity to most peoples' definition, although stuff like baby blood, the piano teacher, ma mere, etc. existed prior to this film.
Black Christmas (1974) - the first "slasher," and much more entertaining than stuff like Halloween imo, too.
Return of the Living Dead (1985) - more fun than the Romero trilogy, imo.
Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (2016? Cause it's a remastered version) - contemporary classic. sleaze that actually garnered lots of critical acclaim. based around real serial killers
Return of the Living Dead 3 (1993) - underrated sequel only really loved by genre-fans. zombie love story! very '90s
Sleepaway Camp (1983) - better than Friday the 13th, imo.
Sleepaway Camp 2 (1988) - fun sequel if you're a genre-fan
House (1986) - schlocky haunted house movie that had a million sequels in the '80s/'90s.
Ghoulies 2 (1987) - I don't think Amazon Prime has the original. I know one of the other services does, though? A really fun sequel - but veeeery Full Moon pictures. corny, schlocky fun.
Eat (2014) - kind of low-budget, somewhat poorly made newer film about auto-cannibalism. about a struggling actress who becomes a masochist. kind of like a gory, more sleazy version of Starry Eyes. I love this movie, though, and think it's highly underappreciated.
Chopping Mall (1986) - fun, corny '80s movie about killer mall security robots.
Mirror Mirror (1990) - corny haunted mirror movie. super '90s with a manic gothic pixie crush actress in it.

It's a bit on the gruesome side I suppose, but not torture.

2006 remake of The Hills Have Eyes
The sequel was eh, but the first (not the original oldie) one always gives me creeped out vibes combined with strange fascination due to the way it's done. It sits in a special little spot of mine.

Saw.

No troll. It has a great thriller plot and actually shows very little, getting most of its gruesome reputation from the rest of the series. It's well worth checking out.

The Nightmare. It's actually a documentary, but the stories and dramatizations are some of the most terrifying and memorable things I've ever seen.
