Well, I found a place in Tacoma (finally) that sells Muenster Cheese (other then the crap they sell sliced
at the deli at safeways etc which doesn't taste like Muenster at all).

It's H&L produce which is partnered with Tacoma boys (who probably also have the cheese but are
farther away).

I got 3 blocks to try it out (since the stuff they sell in block form at Winco is just deli cheese in block form and seriously sucks).

Figured it would last a week or so anyway, and I could get more by then.

But...It was actually pretty good, not GREAT, but decent....and well....I don't have much at home food
wise...seem to be having a problem actually buying food lately (last 6 months), I go to a store and wander
around aimlessly not sure what to buy, not wanting to spend the effort to make anything.

I was eating Dinty Moore beef stew for awhile but saw it's pretty unhealthy.

I'm gonna have to start cooking again eventually I hope.

Anyway, I ate a block a day, and now it's all gone. The store is pretty far away (for me).

Next time I go, I'll get like 10 blocks. I think it was all good till December (late), so I should have gotten more anyway. I just wish there was somewhere with freshly squeezed OJ near me. Trader Joes would
have it...but that is super far away as well.

If I was rich I'd hire a driver or use uber or something to actually get the things I want. I probably should
move somewhere that actually has those things fairly close to me.

Anyway, you all should get some muenster cheese if you have the option and enjoy it for me, since I have none.

Usually that isn't really muenster, but a blah immitation....but it may be different where you are. Here it is available (usually sliced) at most deli counters for sandwiches etc, but...it tastes more like a cheddar then muenster.

Good muenster is softish, like a mozz, and has a distinctive taste (no possible way to describe it). It was common on the east coast, and still fairly easy to find in California.

In WA though, other then Heagan in Olympia, I have not found actual meunster anywhere (and it was super expensive there...like $18 a pound or something). This place I found has decent muenster though.....so I am happy. I just wish I had bought more (also much cheaper then Heagans).
