I know I can look it up, but it can't be this hard to find where I should go. I must be overlooking something really silly

Haven't played that in forever but early on you need to buy the mattock or whatever it's called (basically a pickaxe) to clear rocks in caves and dungeons

OMG, you're right. When I first went into the shop I didn't have a lot of money. That was before I went to sleep in real life. There are items in there that seemed liked I need to buy

So nothing to break the rocks. The thing I could buy was a Key, but the only locked door I could find was with the old man up in the mountains, but it remained unlocked. And it used my key! That's f'n dirty, lol
