He wanted to make his video go "viral" so the Knightdale High School coach ASKED his black friends if he could say what he wanted to say and got "approval" incase it "offended' them and claimed they said yes... He yelled out "White Power, Knightdale! I still love you n-word" The post was shared to admins before it was deleted and the next day he submitted his resignation and said "It was 15 seconds of fame in the wrong way. I ruined the last 12 years of my career. Just to set the record, i'm not racist.I don't mean it in a negative way" He claims his black friends at the dive gave him the THUMBS UP to use the word and phrase as he's coached the majority black team to victory although him saying "white power" is something he COULDN'T explain He said he was caught up by the celebration on their win against Corinth Holders High His letter read "I John Phillip Hoskins resign effective immediately as a football coach from Knightdale High School. I'm sorry, i love you guys. 1. Mind. 1. Heart. 1 Soul. STATE!" His remarks were condemned by Principal Keith Richardson who said Hoskins was not a teacher or full time staff member and was dismayed by his conduct who said his use of the language of white supremacy stirs up feelings of fear,intimidation and threats of racial violence and doesn't reflect their community Do you think John was an idiot to do this?
