You casually ask how it Is going when he explodes excitedly and shouts:

"Oh its the best! Jess is the best Dungeon Master ever! The king has been dethroned after having an affair, leaving the fate of the Kingdom in dissary, sir Ragnar just got a brand new wagon, Melissa the High Elf broke her leg after a low roll, the troll people are invading the sand lands, I found this magic chali-"

"Yes that's nice son." you say flatly while secretly thinking "please shut the fuck up'

Then after you have dinner and go to bed you discover the next day that everything they did in their story happened in your life

The CEO of your work just got fired for fucking a secretary leaving everyone's job security in the air, that smoking hot white girl you know is now limping with a cast on her leg and says "Yeah I broke it last night. Came out of no where"

Then your friend, a big black British man called Wesley drives by in a brand new car and says "I dont know why but I bought this Jamjar on a whim last night. Proper good init?"

Then you hear on the radio that last night, apropos of nothing, Russia is sending large boots on the ground military armies into various theatres in the middle East
