Some of this absolutely is because I still have some social "struggles". Want to say anxiety really but since it's not debilitating it technically isn't.

But for the situations where it isn't that, it's almost always the same type of situation. Something funny happens between me and someone else, crush, friend, good acquaintance, whatever. Usually involves teasing.

For whatever reason I don't see them the rest of the day. Attempt to send something referencing it. First it seems too mean-spirited, then it sounds too whiny, then too insecure, then eventually I just quit trying since nothing is coming out right.

Doesn't sound like you are the type to be mean spirited to random people. Thats when you can say "i wouldnt make fun of ya if I didnt like ya"

it's easy when you're the primary person you want to entertain. anybody else who happens to enjoy your post should just be considered lucky to have seen it.

laugh at your own jokes, make obscure references that you weren't expecting anybody to get, and basically just do you.
