as far as real people go, there is a propensity to hive-mindedness, again both with respect to trump supporters and opponents

agree with them regardless of what their camp does and they won't bat an eye, but start asking the wrong questions or disagreeing with the camp and you'll become a designated enemy

You have it backwards. I was calling them out for NPC behavior under a different name 2 years before the term surfaced, as the term wasn't a thing at that point, and 4 years since then, they have not changed in the slightest. 4 years ago I just called it parroting. Then when NPC became a thing, I found it hilarious because they had been doing it themselves for 2 years and now came up with a term for it, which they threw at their opponents, and did so in a parroting way with identical posts and meme pics, displaying the very thing they were accusing their opponents of doing, and that I had already been calling them out on for 2 years. You understand what I'm saying and you're pretending you don't, instead resorting to parroting/NPC shit.

The NPC behavior from the left includes shit like "cheeto" and "dear leader" and "toddler in chief." I don't resort to unoriginal shit like that though. I do, however, acknowledge that anti-trump people are guilty of NPCing when they use memes like those (and I'm sure there are more than those 3. Those are just off the top of my head).

Yup. Trumpanzees, cultists, redcaps (think redshirt term) were all popular long before NPC tried to be a thing. NPC was always just projection of the highest order

To be fair though, those terms fuel his argument (and I would include them on the list that I posted), which is why I don't and haven't ever used them, even before NPC, because I would see them too often and I didn't want to parrot terms like that when I could come up with my own insults, criticisms and attack angles. That's the point I was making. So there is some merit to the NPC argument against the left, but I was seeing more of it from the right even before they coined the term. I wanted to stay away from it even back then.

NPC = They love parroting BS talking points Fox News or Trump gives them.
