I did a lot of research first, and honestly after over 10 years of strong depression and the research I did into the safety and potential help shrooms can have for depressed I decided to carefully give them a go. I couldn't really think straight or focus too well while on them, but I definitely felt the depression lift for a bit. And just knowing that the depression could lift was helpful for me.
