Every Pokemon generation is different in their own ways. Comparing Sun/Moon and X/Y to Sword/Shield is like comparing Fried Rice. All Chinese restaurants have it but depending on where you go the recipes can be wildly different.

You always compare to previous products. And your analogy is wrong. Sticking with your friend rice theme, it's like ordering fried rice from a single restaurant, and when you go back to the exact same restaurant to order some more they leave out some ingredients.

What Sw/Sh lacks in actual Pokemon, worthwhile improvements, and goodwill towards the fanbase, it more than makes up for in half-baked analogies from its defenders.

No. This is going to be the best game in the series so far. If you decide not to play it because you by into the lies about graphics and how bad the new Pokemon are that's no skin off my nose, but to attack fans who are looking forward to this game is unacceptable.

I didnt attack you at all lol. If people are attacking you it isnt because you want Sw/Sh. Its because youve been spamming the board with these topics and they always end with you getting piled on. Just go enjoy the game when it drops instead of going off about it here.

I'm legitimately curious about what makes the games look so good to you. I'm assuming you've seen the pic comparing the tree in the game to the trees from Wii Sports, a 13 year old game from a system 2 generations behind the Switch.

The one good thing I've seen from the game are a lot of the pokemon designs look cool. I love Corvinight, I think it is called. The steel raven knight. But the starters all look lackluster to me in their final forms.

Plus the always on exp share. I'm assuming you know about the complaints people have gotten watching someone stream the game. How the entire main game only lasted about 16 hours with all the cut scenes. And how he constantly out leveled every trainer he faced, and would one shot almost all of them. It took 3 moves to beat gym leaders. And for some reason Wailord is the size of a trainer when he is supposed to be like 50 feet.

Plus most battles taking place in a colored void instead of an actual battlefield. What is wrong with suspecting a game up to par with at least Pokemon Colosseum? For the first main line console pokemon game. They even got practice with Let's Go.

On the positive I did see a picture of the town where the fairy gym is, and it was pretty. Kind of looked like Zimmermarsh from the first World of Warcraft expansion. Which came out 12 years ago.

It is not foolish to expect improvements to the series and to build upon past entries as the series goes on over time.

As opposed to Sword/Shield which outright removed features and made things even more braindead easy.
