Current Events > Anyone else get horrible nosebleeds in winter?

I had 7 nosebleeds today which kept me from sleeping, shit fucking sucked. I gotta get some Vaseline and line inside of my nose with it... you know, the rare moment its safe to even so much as slightly touch my fucking nose.

I mean I get nosebleeds all the time, but usually only one 30 min or so one every two or three days. But the 7 I had today have my whole biology all fucked up rn. :(

Uh, I don't think randomly getting nosebleeds every couple days is normal, let alone 7 in a day.

Damn man u should go to the doctor and have that checked out. 7 nosebleeds in one day? Sounds like something serious. If you're getting nosebleeds all the time something isn't right.

Well shit. I just figured since theyre just inconveniences (massive ones sometimes) that it couldnt be anything all that serious. I mean sometimes they do leave me dizzy/with headache, but otherwise nothing bad seems to really come from them.

Every couple days wouldn't be terrible in winter given how the cold can affect the sinuses and greatly increase the chances of one. 7 in one day though...that's definitely something to check out though.

I suppose so. I've never lived anywhere super cold before, so I've never experienced that. Even then, I couldn't tell you the last time I had a nose bleed. It's been years.

I used to because of how dry it gets. I usually sleep with a humidifier now and haven't had that problem since.

Yeah Ive got one constantly going in my room. My nose doesnt really feel dry at all until after a series of bleeds. Then its downhill for rest of the day.

This shit is the worst. When blood dries its just such a massive pain in the ass. Also ruins perfectly good feeling of being well rested to see a fucking Satan tribute of blood just chillin all over your bed first thing.

A humidifier would definitely help. I had one installed on my furnace to cover the house. It's made a big difference in just comfort levels and not getting shocked on doors. A room humidifier would be worth looking into, but that many nosebleeds might be worth a trip to the doc
