This is around the time of year I start to prefer a 3-5 day beard, though I shave when interviewing for jobs - but since we skipped Fall, it's kind of rough. I prefer something that's not too long because I hate that, yet helps keep my face warm when the temps are like today's ridiculous high of 18 Fahrenheit. Yuck!

Every time I decide to let facial hair grow out I realize it comes out a mix of my current brown hair, the blonde shade that my hair was when I was much younger, and a shade of the current grey that is very slowly mingling with the rest of my hair.

So I shave it off in annoyance.

My hair on my head is brown and my eyebrows are black (or, at least very, very dark brown) and my beard is full on red, and the hair on my arms is closer to blonde.

IRL this is not all nearly as jarring as it sounds when I say it like that, lol

Mustache with beard growing back.

I usually run mustache out of control beard combo, but my hair grows so damn fast that when my beard gets too bad I just shave the whole thing and run only moustache for like a week. Despite 'looking like a weirdo' I look like an even bigger one clean shaven.
