It's all good... Trolls and or people who don't get it don't bother me, that shit can be crippling for someone else though.

But yeah, all is Gucci despite being bummed, but that can be fixed by this beginning better habits than before, and carrying on.

Using this as a point to begin some other better living general habits I've been delaying starting as well.

My best advice is don't think of relapsing as losing the war. It's losing a battle, sure, but every day you go without, every craving you push aside is also a battle, and you win those. Keep up the fight.

Oh yeah, the worst is probably 5 years back by now, and I'm lucky I lived through those years... This was miniscule in comparison, but I hold it to the same degree because I know better.

For about 3 years of my life I was on the hardest uppers out there, stealing, jail a couple times, the whole shebang. Cleaned up and have been pretty good for like.... 4-5 years?

Last week at a party, got offered something, went with it, then did it 2 more times that week. Each with a day in between, all on off days, but still super unhappy with the choices.

All in all it's fine, bad couple of weeks mixed with an offer for something fun, I trust in myself and my ability to carry back on the path of only 420.

No matter the drug I think the lack of utter satisfaction that doesn't happen and the guilt that comes from the relapse can either be a building block or a crag you hit on the fall to the bottom

Your choice ultimately, I'm not judging either way. Been on the side of latter choice honestly

I never went through a program of any kind, just hit that point and decided to flip my life around. Unfortunately (for me at least) those urges are always there, have been the whole time, but it's the choice to step up and manage your life without your vices that make a person successful.

Congrats on your 5 months man, many more to come.

Addiction is particularly nasty. It's never an easy thing to kick, and god knows if it was we'd all be our own gods and masters.

But we're not, we're human. We're gonna make mistakes, we're gonna falter. The important thing is to keep trying. I struggle with medicine and my cancer, and I've been in emotional withdrawal over someone since 2007. I don't know if it gets easier. I've considered suicide many times. Almost every day, actually, but I still keep going.

Keep going, bro. It's not easy, but you've made it this far. I believe in you.
