And of course, there's that whole appeals circuit thing. Republicans blocked Obama from filling most of the federal openings for judges during his two terms, creating an artificial crisis. They also blocked his SCOTUS candidate. Then as soon as they won an election, they've been shoving in literal members of think tanks who the BAR association says should never be given a judge position. Since they're lifetime appointments, this basically means that some districts are essentially lost for the rest of our lifetimes.

Yeah, and it'll get even worse under Trump's second term because while Trump himself has constantly floated the idea that he should be president for life or he should choose his successor rather than have an election people act like that not even he can subvert that process but he's made a living of getting away with shit that most people get locked up for if enough of his supporters do wish for him to be president for life republicans will stand behind him because if they don't they lose their jobs to a trump supporting republican that will back that. The american people's reaction won't matter and the Military definitely won't do anything

So whatd you think TC? Pretty engaging, I thought. More than I anticipated it would be. Defenitely eye-opening to see it all put forth so clearly. Of course the Republicans did a good job distracting. Most people watching probably tuned out with all their red-herring questions and stalling. The witnesses were good though.
