You're probably right. And it will motivate you, and that motivation will lead to an addiction to having that motivation.

As someone who has been around the drug block more than once. Adderall roped me the hardest. Like I said, it would make me feel like I was gonna die and Id still do it again.

If you take doses way higher than what you're prescribed it would probably be similar to meth, yes. Otherwise there have been no known, major short-term or long-term risks with its use from my last bit of research.

Yeah. Me not being able to use it with out abusing it, doesn't mean it can't work in the right way for you. Im just trying to be a warning sign. I do them like twice a month now, pull one all nighter during. Even now, I start off taking like 3 in the first 2-3 hours >_>. My tolerance is ridiculous tho. I would never recommend that amount to anyone.

I think my depression ignited me takimg it so far back then. Now Im completely fine without it for months. Back then, it was one my only sources if happiness

Adderal addicition is very uncommon outside of non-prescribed doses. Anecdotally as somone who used to take prescription adderal and who knows two other people who take or used to take adderal, it is not a particularly addictive substances as all three of us have never had problems discontinuining doses.

I girl in my class was hospitalized after having a heart attack. She abused it to help her study. Lost a lot of weight (was already a stereotypical "skinny Asian"), wouldn't sleep for days, stopped getting her period. She dropped out, poor girl.

What can I say? It's easily addictive? You seem like you know what you're doing.

Im not the only example I personally know. Im deep in the world of prescription drug use. You can't say Im wrong cause I only stated 1 example and then you state 3 and it's definitive >_>. I had 2 friends doing the same exact shit as me during it. Also have family members that binged it for years. So I upped you to 5 lol. The main issue with Adderall is that your body becomes dependent on it, and due to the short half-life the withdrawals can be terrible. I actually voluntarily quit Adderall and started Wellbutrin because of that.

Vyvanse is the best by far, though. All the advantages of Adderall but lasts all day and no withdrawal.

I can attest to this. Also, don't use Mydayis. Gave me a panic attack the last time I used it.

Contrary to most people, I thought Strattera was great but I had severe tachycardia and diaphoresis taking it, which is crazy to think about since it's marketed as "safer" than Adderall by not being "a stimulant."

I'd say of all the medicines available for ADHD, Vyvanse strikes the best balance between being effective while having less abuse potential and fewer side effects.

Aw man. Can you imagine the withdrawals I went through from 5 days awake if heavy use to cold turkey >_>. I literally couldn't stay awake for more than 3-4 hours at a time. And that's aside from what it would do to me mentally. Shit was full blown drug addict level.

I didn't say you were wrong, maybe you should read my post more clearly.

Yes, if you're taking three pills at a time that is what we would call a "non-prescribed dose" and taking it at those levels can absolutely be addictive. TC is, I'm assuming, not going to be abusing them like that. Vis a vis, addiction is unlikely but not impossible.

I'll take your word for it. But you don't know if you have an addictive personality until you try it. You seem not to have it. But for someone like me who's mind goes "This makes me feel better....so even more would make me feel even better...why not?", It becomes out the persons hands to take them responsibly. That's why even though I feel like taking them responsibly would help with problems I have, Id never accept a prescription. Im happy you found something that worked. It's just a dangerous game for people with addictive personalities. And the doctors don't care to look into that for you.

It all matters if you find the thing that can hold your attention the whole time. I've definitely got the feeling tho. Shit, sometimes I get a deep headache and nausea. I've thrown up on it a few times. I learned the headache makes me tired and I can sleep it off in a few hours tho
Then I wake back up and get back to it.

I took adderall in college once to study for a cumulative final. I finished studying in 30 minutes & I was fully convinced I was going to get a perfect score on the exam. I then ran a few laps around my house and chain smoked half a pack of cigarettes.

I ended up getting a C on the final. Never again.

Adderall increases the perception of academic performance, but not the actual scores.

Oh, I remember it. I wasn't a fan either. But like I said, I usually take 3 20s (extendos or 2 regular ones) within the first few hours these days and I don't even get it slightly. It's been years since that stopped happening

Yeah. My tolerance sucks. It's expensive as fuck. I take 6 extendos in the 16-20 hours I take them. They last like 12 hours after the last one tho. I think I just end up taking them so that I don't gave them left over to push into another all nighter
Cause it's the lack of sleep and eating that catches up to me. Im too skinny to go without eating for long periods.

Maybe I should ask my doctors about getting on Vyvanse. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was younger, and went from ritalin to concerta before it all stopped.

I like to joke the depression knocked the "hyper" part out of the acronym. I wish it wasn't true.
