it varies greatly day to day. this time of year there is a lot of freezes so its pretty slow for the most part. then something could explode and im working non stop.

It all depends on the day, how stupid people are, and if HQ calls for a special assignment, I tend to have lots of down time on slow days like I am having today.

However it could change any moment, and it sucks when that happens right before shift change as the people on site cant pass it on to the person coming on. The benefit is we get paid over time when it happens before shift change, though if if happens 5 minutes or less you can choose to go home or do over time.

9 out of 10 times I choose overtime unless a game or movie is coming out I must play or see. Like if I had that situation today I would choose go home because I really want to play Jedi Fallen Order as do many of my co workers.

Spend a good hour and a half our so a day learning about non-work stuff on Wikipedia or other places. I am trusted to manage my workload without supervision and I do.

Between 3 and 8 hrs are productive. Usually leaning to the higher end. Days on the lower end can be torture with how slow they are.

Well it looks like the CO is pulling out the game systems and setting up the home theater equipment so today is done unless a special call or fax comes in.

Now its a vote for LOTR, Star Wars, or Avengers Endgame.
