50 million a year gained, but 500 officers aren't costing them 249 million a year so what's the actual yearly cost of the officers and is it more or less than the fares collected?

Also they could probably just do this with cameras and image recognition but that makes people even angrier than cops doing it.

Its not just fare evasion; you have to quantify if police make things safer in terms of less assaults, vandalism on subways.

But you alway need to quantify the lawsuit aspect when a cop and a passenger escalate a situation
