Everyday I see white and black homeless, but never Asian. Been to NYC, SF, and LA. Not even one.

The other night around 10:30 I went to Starbucks drive thru on the east side San Jose and this older Asian guy came right up to my window and asked me to buy him coffee and give him money.

There's one in latham/watervliet N.Y ,he's pretty old and has a old Asian lady friend who helps him sometimes with his big laundry cart full of bottle bags

It's not like that is universally true, and even if it were, being homeless is more about luck and mental health than it is actual work ethic.

Theres this lady (who I assume is homeless) I always see on this little bridge by the asian food center. She has super long hair and is always dressed in this big white fur coat. I always kinda wanted to talk to her but was scared

I don't want to stereotype, but people of Asian descent are often community minded, and if someone is down on their luck, they can sometimes find others to put them up, even if they don't know each other well.

it's the same way with people of various African cultures.

You know, in NYC I do hardly see homeless Asian people. I think I've only seen a handful across several decades, whereas I see 100s of homeless white and black people every week.

There's one who hangs out in my town's nightclub district. Pretty sure he has a mental disability of some kind. Occasionally I'll give him extra bar change because I know for a fact he gets food with it, unlike the rest of them who are very hit and miss.
