Legend of Zelda - Subtract 2. Nearly all of the games in this series outside of MM are overrated
Pokemon - Subtract 2. Nearly all of the games in this series outside of gen 2-3 are overrated
Fire Emblem - Subtract 1. Basic SRPGs that get way too much love because of the waifu element
Smash - Subtract 1. Solid games with nostalgia glasses, but are usually slightly tuned rehashes of previous entries
Animal Cross - Subtract 1. Babby's first sim game, usually.
DK - Subtract 1. Usually inferior to Mario games in every way released the same time period
Mario - None. They're almost always accurately rated
Kirby - None. Same as above
Metroid - Add 1. These games are almost always perfect
Yoshi - Add 1. Almost always just flat out better than the Mario ones released the same time period

This has never been accurate

This. Ignoring the other stuff, only the original Yoshis Island was very good. DS was ok. The rest are mediocre to bad. Mario has some stinkers but its a certainly more consistently good than Yoshi.
