No, but even the 1st Amendment has limits and exceptions. Types of speech which are less protected includes, but not limited to; incitement, false statement as fact, "fighting words" and/or offensive speech, obscenities.

Other countries have those same limits in addition to a bunch of hate speech laws the further limit free speech.

In America it easily could. We have a shitload of guns and armored vehicles at civilian disposal. That is all you would need, as well as some well trained snipers in urban areas scattered across the country.

The govt would have to negotiate when they realize their families aren't even safe anymore.

Even if they did, I don't think you have a firm grasp on how much the US military relies on civilian developed tech. Also I don't think you have a firm grasp on the fact that American politicians would be forced to negotiate, they don't want to live with their families in some remote location to not worry about getting shot or blown to bits.

To think that even like 10k armed civilians with only maybe 1% of them being real marksmen you couldn't do a whole lot of bushwhacking is pretty naive. Almost as naive as saying America couldn't have defeated the British in 1700s-1800s

I don't think you have a firm grasp on the steps that a government would take to retain power. Any uprising would be squashed flat before it could get any momentum. Tech may be developed by civilians, that doesn't mean it can't be seized by the government in a state of emergency if they feel it has any tactical advantage.

Not to mention, how are your ten thousand finding each other and co-ordinating attacks? Probably using means that are already monitored by the government. Your rebellion would never even get to that number.

I don't think you wrote what you meant to write there. I didn't quite those parts because they are ridiculous and I didn't feel they needed addressing any more than they already have been. Any rebellion would be destroyed before it had a chance to grow. There would be no movement with which to negotiate because the people targeting politicians would very quickly end up dead.

I don't see how the country I'm from would negate any criticism of some attitudes held by some people in yours. For what it's worth, I think my government is a disgrace. Doesn't mean that yours isn't one too.

Fact is, your guns will never help you against your government. You believe that because it's a lie you've been fed for years. If you want guns and your country allows it, all good. Just don't pretend you're keeping them for a revolution that will never happen.
