Reign Over Me is another classic Adam Sandler emotional manipulation movie that tricks you into thinking it has a heart (this time via 9/11 motifs), but really its nasty and vile and misleads you into thinking that Adam Sandler having custody of his kids (in the movie and in real life) is in their best interest, cause 9/11 is sad, isnt it?

Also the director clearly had a chip on his shoulder about the film industry's negative views towards the concept of video games being art.

I always thought ending to the wedding singer was really fucking sweet. Right when Drew Barrymore starts tearing up realizing it's Sandler singing over the intercom. It's a really sweet song dude.

I never really understood the tears behind click though.

This is probably the closest I've come to weeping whenever I rewatch it, because my deceased mother always loved that scene. Definitely my favorite Sandler flick.
