A little girl said after the scene where Olaf turned back into snow "what happened to Olaf ;-;" and I thought her tiny sadness was hilarious

I really enjoyed this movie. It's definitely not as good as Frozen 1 but that's hard to do.

Frozen is Disney's best animated movie and IMO is much more emotionally resonant than its sequel, which is less character-driven and more plot-driven. Also, Frozen 2's story is more convoluted than before. Where Frozen 1 is elegantly and memorably simple, Frozen 2 is mysterious but harder to understand. And the emotional payoffs are not as high as in the first movie.

The songs in frozen 2 are amazing even if none of them are as powerful as let it go. The movie is visually resplendent and I love the unraveling sense of mystery. But the new characters feel underdeveloped, and Kristoff's role in the story is superfluous.
