I troll bad recruiters.
Like the ones who ask me what I want, tell me the company will pay that then the company offers less and when I ask them they say "that's what the recruiter said you were asking for". Or like the recruiter who told me to take holidays off from my current job and just start working without being paid by the new company. Or the recruiters who edited your CV.

The ones that are good and actually helpful I'll always try to make sure I'm good back to them.

A lot of recruiters here in the bigger companies don't have proper training at all and have no idea how to actually work out with what they want from the companies they're representing

Ive never once used a recruiter to land a job. I feel like they are mostly useless - they spam you with shit jobs when you arent even looking. Then complete silence when you actually are looking. I always work my connections when Im job hunting to get my resume to the right person. Then get asked to apply and put in touch with the recruiter afterwards.

What recruiter? For what job? In what context? The vagueness of this is quite telling. You don't explain anything so this thread is worthless outside of you pathetically trying to look like a badass via text.

I find that opening with something like "I want more money that's why I'm looking and since you want good commission, it's in your interest to help me but I'm not desperate as my job is incredibly secure" usually helps put one another one the same level. If I get the "okay but like I mean the market isn't great so you might not get much more/take a cut/work two hours in the fuckhole land" then they're idiots and don't want commission.
